When Anambra State got shut down as the FA Cup victory tour/ road show intensified... FC Ifeanyi Ubah style!

FC Ifeanyi Ubah victory tour on 23rd November practically shutdown the state with Gov. Obiano, Dr.
Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Chief Victor Umeh, and many others leading the parade in what many called
"the mother of all parade".
The parade which started at the club's stadium at Nnewi/Ozubulu to the governor's lodge Amawbia
where the trophy was officially presented to the Governor by the Club President Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah was mind blowing.
After the presentation, Gov Obiano, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Sir Victor Umeh and others went into frenzy with the trophy
in the FC Ifeanyi Ubah customized
open victory truck while thousands of fans that came for the victory parade joined the fray.
It was a parade that saw the Governor and Dr. Ubah in the open truck with the trophy receiving cheers from the frenetic crowd along the roads and streets of Awka while
thousands followed the train with different musicals by the celebrating fans.
It was a parade that United Anambra people some more.
It was a parade that showed that people of Anambra State have been salivating and craving for this FA Cup since the
creation of the State. The way Ndi Anambra
celebrated the trophy yesterday showed that the state had been starved of it for over 25 years of its existence.
One needs to watch the celebration of some women along Eke Awka market on seeing the trophy and realizing the role played by Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah to see that
the jinx was broken after 25 years of de javu. The trophy later moved to the commercial city of Onitsha from Awka.
Although, Gov Obiano alighted at Awka immediately after St Patricks Catholic Church, the victory train moved to Onitsha, the commercial city of the State before returning to the Club's Stadium at Nwewi /Ozubulu.
The tour was Triangular Equilibrium touching the three senatorial zones of the State.
A celebration that touched the trinity of Anambra state's
senatorial zones .
It is of note that Igwe Orizu, the traditional ruler of Nnewi kingdom and the oldest reigning traditional ruler in Anambra State also received the trophy with his royal
blessing.
Fans eventually retired at the club's Stadium where they were attended to by the Club management with sumptuous treats.
Meanwhile, it was a celebration that saw thousands of the Club jerseys being adorned.
It was a celebration of greatness...
It was a celebration of God's grace...
Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah while presenting the trophy
to the governor started with
" I Thank God for giving us this victory and may His name be praised... "
