After diverting #15billion in the name of building flyovers, Kwata junction flyover cracks ... I have been vindicated with the collapsing of the poorly designed flyover.

That the bridge is collapsing is not the issue, but the wasted state fund.
That they gave us the worst ever designed flyover that failed both quality and beautification tests was quite disgusting at best.
Do we now probe the utilization of the #15billion diverted with respect to those projects?
That the flyover has already started cracking from the base within three months of its use, shows that it had failed quality test and any attempt to do nothing on it thereby making it possible for our people to continue using it will be suicidal.
I wrote last year(2015) against the dangerous diversion of public fund by Gov Obiano led administration when they went for Contract Variation that took the contract from its initial Contract sum of #5billion to #15billion after 11 months of the contract performance out of 12 months contract execution tenure .
We saw Contract Variation move 200 % above the original contract sum for the first time under Obiano.
Yesterday, Gov Obiano led administration after some of the govt's propagandists tried to denied that the closed bridged was not collapsing, went there to carry out repair work on the collapsing flyover.
Let me state here, I am not a Civil Engineer ,but I am a human being who observes danger when I see one.
I submit that in a time like this, we are faced with issues here.
(1) who bears the consequences if anyone dies from that bridge especially if Govt failed to do the needful?
(2) Those that are trying to defend govt on the collapsing flyover, if that is to be their rented house, will they still be living in the same house?
(3) What of the money expended there? Can't us ask questions on the said Money?
(4) Every right thinking person knows that no govt can spend up to one #1.5billion for the entire projects but here we are, they diverted our #15billion,yet they gave us the worst ever designed flyover anyone can talk of.
Don't force our people to use that bridge Sir. We must be proactive and not reactive. Lives of our people matter more than any one's political ego.
When I said that Obiano gave us worst ever designed flyovers with inflated contract sums, some didn't believe. But today with the cracking of one of them, I am vindicated.
More reasons why we must stand to correct the mistake of 2013 that produced Gov Obiano.
